Senior Managing Director

John B. Petrick is the co-founder of Perennial Financial Services, established in 2004. With a focus on comprehensive financial planning and investment management, John and his partner, Chris Nowakowski, envisioned a personalized approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
Now residing in Woodland Hills, California, John remains active in the Pacific Palisades community, serving in leadership roles and promoting a safe business environment. Recognized for his expertise, he has been honored as a FIVE STAR Wealth Manager for 13 consecutive years and named a Leader of Influence amongst Wealth Managers by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

Christopher A. Nowakowski simplifies complex financial situations, offering solutions tailored to today's investment landscape. With a foundation in investing since high school, he honed his expertise at PaineWebber and UBS Financial Services before co-founding Perennial Financial Services with John.
Chris graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Economics and resides in Porter Ranch with his family. He enjoys travel, outdoor activities, and is an active member of the Santa Monica Elks Lodge #906.

Chief Compliance Officer

Tony Lee, Chief Compliance Officer at Perennial Financial Services, brings over 20 years of compliance experience. Starting at FINRA as an Associate Examiner, he ensured broker-dealers adhered to regulations. He later managed compliance at Countrywide Capital Markets and MUFG UnionBanc Investment Services.
Tony holds a double major from UC Santa Barbara, a CFA designation, and maintains multiple FINRA licenses. Based in Southern California, he enjoys playing guitar, attending his son's activities, and cheering for the Dodgers and Lakers.

After successful years at AT&T, Kenji ventured into IT Managed Services, coining the nickname "The IT Henchman." His roles included establishing cybersecurity and compliance services, leading to a 50% revenue increase in one year.
Kenji previously provided technology solutions and vendor consultation for businesses and municipal entities. Now serving as the CTO of Perennial Financial Services, Kenji focuses on updating technologies to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance. His top priorities include implementing robust remote work solutions and cybersecurity strategies for business continuity in the wake of 2020's challenges.

Betty is a highly accomplished recruiting leader with over two decades of specialized experience in the financial services industry. She spent over a decade advancing through advisor recruiting, ultimately becoming the top Advisor Recruiting Manager for the Western Division. In 2022, she transitioned into senior leadership, where she managed a team of 30 including four Senior Managers.

A native of Orange County, CA, Betty is known for her disciplined approach, which extends to her personal life as a dedicated 5 a.m. Orangetheory Fitness enthusiast. She lives with her husband and five-year-old son.

As Chief Marketing Officer at Perennial Financial Services, Cassidy leads the firm’s marketing strategy, brand vision, and client engagement initiatives.

She began her career as a Marketing Associate, gaining experience in digital strategy, brand management, and client communications. Today, she brings that same strategic mindset and client-first approach to her role as CMO, ensuring Perennial’s marketing reflects the firm’s values of trust, clarity, and long-term success.

Outside of work, Cassidy enjoys life with her partner Michael and their mini dachshund, Milo.

Abner Pacheco is a Client Services Associate with over a decade of financial industry experience, beginning his career at National Planning Holdings, Inc. He excelled in roles such as Operations Intern and New Accounts Associate, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and customer service.
Abner also boasts over 12 years of experience in Martial Arts, earning a Black Belt in Taekwondo and Muay Thai and teaching both kids and adults. Based in Los Angeles, he enjoys hiking, movies, and participating in Spartan race competitions with his girlfriend and four pets.

Susan Della Penna is a Client Service Associate at Perennial Financial Services with extensive experience in sales, operations, and customer relations in the Building Services industry. Transitioning to wealth management in 2017, she previously served as Director of Operations at Beverly Hills Wealth Management.
Susan is also a Krav Maga kickboxing instructor, volunteers with LiftVets, Westside German Shepherd Rescue, and Los Angeles Rabbit Foundation. Originally from Ohio, she enjoys kickboxing, Pure Barre, yoga, spinning, and participates in a business book club.

Audrey Kettering brings 12 years of financial services experience, starting at Edward Jones Investments as a Branch Office Administrator. Later, she spent 8 years at Elite Scheduling Firm as a Regional Scheduling Coordinator, managing schedules for sales executives nationwide.
Outside of work, she enjoys fitness, outdoor adventures with her family and dog, and community involvement, including coaching and serving on boards. Originally from Chicago, she now resides in El Dorado Hills, CA with her husband and three children.

Salena joined Perennial as a Client Service Associate in 2024 after graduating from the University of San Diego, where she earned a degree in International Business with a minor in Law and Ethics. Her journey with Perennial began as an intern, where she impressed the team with her initiative, professionalism, and dedication- making her transition into a full-time role a natural fit. Outside of work, Salena is passionate about exploring San Diego's outdoor beauty, from hiking trails to coastal vistas.
